The Gangs all Meer Christmas card

I needed one more Christmas card and still had this set sitting on my desk. I stamped the single meerkat on some whisper white paper and then stamped it on my stamp block so I could mirror it next to the first image. I then used light and dark crumb cake and ivory Stampin blends to color them in. I cut them out with a layering circle die and then used the next size bigger to die cut a cherry cobbler scalloped circle. I freehand cut a piece of real red paper in the shape of a hat and then used the snowfall accents puff paint to add the brim and pompom to the add. I used my heat tool to create puff the paint up.

My card base was from thick whisper white cut to 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. I then used a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 piece of gold foil and a piece of DSP from The Most Wonderful Time product medley cut to 4 1/8 by 5 1/4. I then put on a couple of the tree stickers from the same medley. I placed these so they would show behind my circle.

I stamped the Merry Christmas from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set with cherry cobbler ink and then fuzzy cut it out. I carefully cut around the meerkats paws so I could slide the Merry Christmas sign underneath them so it appeared that they where holding the sign.

I finished off the inside with a little leftover gold foil strips, one more tree sticker and a sentiment from the Greatest Part of Christmas hostess stamp set.

Hope all of you have a wonderful holiday and a happy new year!

The Gang’s All Meer

I pulled out one of the new sale-a-bration stamps sets coming January 2020 for today’s card. Isn’t this the cutest set you have ever seen. You can earn it for free starting January 3rd by placing a $50 order. I needed to make a Christmas card for Eric and his breakfast pals to give to their favorite waitress.

I stamped the group of meerkats and then created a mask of them so I could add a few more of the individual meerkats to the back of the group. I then stamped the little Santa hat from the Merry Moose  stamp set on 3 of the meerkats. I colored the meerkats with light and dark crumb cake Stampin blends and the hats with a light cherry cobbler Stampin blend and then used a little of the snowfall accents puff paint on the brim and the pompom on each hat and then heat set it. I stamped a tree from the Merry Moose set in shaded spruce, added a few holiday rhinestones and some of the gold/white tinsel trim and a gold star from the Most Wonderful Time product medley and then added a few snowflake sequins. I used the largest stitched nested labels to cut out the scene.

My card base was made from thick whisper white card stock cut to 5 1/2 and then scored at 4 1/4. I cut a piece of shaded spruce paper at 4 1/8” by 5 3/8 and then centered a piece of let it snow specialty designer series paper cut to 4” by 5 1/4”on top. I popped up my die cut using dimensionals. I then stamped the saying from the Bells are Ringing Stamp set using versamark ink. I then added some white embossing powder and heated it with my heat tool. I punched it out with a label die from the Most Wonderful Time die set. I added a little more gold tinsel trim to each end and then added a few dimensional and centered below the meerkats scene.

I finished off the inside with a couple of strips of the let it snow paper to match the front. I stamped merry Christmas from the snowman season stamp set and from all of us from The Gang’s All Meer set.

Perfectly Plaid His and Hers

It was a cold and snowy morning so we stayed in and made some cards together. We used the Perfectly Plaid Stamp set and the pine tree punch for our cards. We had some scraps from another project using the pine tree punch. The punched piece was raised with dimensionals over a tree cut out of the wrapped in plaid DSP.

Eric’s card is on the left and mine is on the right. If you like Eric’s card please leave a comment. I’m trying to get him to stamp with me more!

We used coordinating plaid paper to finish off the inside of the cards. If you like the cards and would like to make your own the stamps and punch can be purchased using the shop now link above. If you don’t currently have a demonstrator we would love to have you as a customer. If you place a $50 order by December 5th you will be entered into a drawing for the Nature’s Beauty stamp set.  Stampin Up is donating $3 of every sale of this stamp sent toward Mental Health Organizations. Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Boughs

The sketch this week from Freshly Made Sketches #411 was so inspiring. This is just one of many of the cards I made following this sketch.

I used copper foil paper for the background and to cut the pine cones using the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Boughs Dies. I embossed a piece of very vanilla paper with the Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder and then layered a piece of the Toile Tidings Gift Wrap DSP on top. For the sentiment I used a stamp from the Toile Christmas stamp set and cut it out with a die from the Christmas Cardinal Die Set.

If you are interested in buying any of these items you can hit the shop button up top to take you to my shopping page. I would love to be your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

Freshly Made Sketches #398

Today’s card was inspired by Freshly Made Freshly Made Sketches 398.

For my card I cut the hummingbird from the Mosaic Mood DSP #149478, I cut the background die cut from the Wild Rose Die Set #149547 in Granny Apple Green. The Thank You was from Abstract Impressions Stamp set 147513 and was stamped in versamark ink and embossed with gold #109129 on the Timeless Label #149516 punch that had been watercolored with pigment sprinkles #149663 Granny Apple Green. I used the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread #149485 and wrapped it around 3 times and tied a bow. This was all placed on very vanilla card stock #101650 that had been embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D #149643. I added a few metallic Pearls #146282 to finish off the card.

For the inside I used some of the Mosaic Mood DSP and very vanilla and stamped it with Abstract Impressions stamp.

If you are interested in purchasing any of these items hit the shop now tab above to take you to my shopping page.

Everything is Rosy

For today’s card I used the new Everything is Rosy Product Medley from Stampin’ Up!. The paper included with the kit is just stunning with the rose copper foiling. I ran a piece of the copper foil through my big shot with the subtle embossing folder for the background. I cut two pieces of the night of navy ribbon included in the kit and adhered them to a 2 1/2 inch strip of one of the included papers. I stamped two flowers in night of navy and then die cut them with one of the included dies. I then added 2 of the little cooper dots from the kit. I stamped the sentiment in night of navy on one of the labels included as well.

I am entering this card in the freshly made sketches challenge #388. Here is the link to their challenge page: https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2019/05/freshly-made-sketches-388.html?m=1
