The Gangs all Meer Christmas card

I needed one more Christmas card and still had this set sitting on my desk. I stamped the single meerkat on some whisper white paper and then stamped it on my stamp block so I could mirror it next to the first image. I then used light and dark crumb cake and ivory Stampin blends to color them in. I cut them out with a layering circle die and then used the next size bigger to die cut a cherry cobbler scalloped circle. I freehand cut a piece of real red paper in the shape of a hat and then used the snowfall accents puff paint to add the brim and pompom to the add. I used my heat tool to create puff the paint up.

My card base was from thick whisper white cut to 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. I then used a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 piece of gold foil and a piece of DSP from The Most Wonderful Time product medley cut to 4 1/8 by 5 1/4. I then put on a couple of the tree stickers from the same medley. I placed these so they would show behind my circle.

I stamped the Merry Christmas from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set with cherry cobbler ink and then fuzzy cut it out. I carefully cut around the meerkats paws so I could slide the Merry Christmas sign underneath them so it appeared that they where holding the sign.

I finished off the inside with a little leftover gold foil strips, one more tree sticker and a sentiment from the Greatest Part of Christmas hostess stamp set.

Hope all of you have a wonderful holiday and a happy new year!
